With Rodeo
A networked artwork examining the tension between democratization and artistic value in digital art. The work comprises 27 distinct pieces that function both as individual commentaries and as nodes in a larger visual system represented through a 3x9 grid.
The project engages with Rodeo's distribution model — 24-hour open editions at $0.30 each. Initially separate artworks, the pieces were reimagined as interconnected nodes after discovering token image mutability, creating a meta-commentary on platform dynamics and collective value creation.
Token #27 contains a consensus trigger: if it surpasses 159,300 editions in 24 hours (matching the total supply of the other 26 pieces combined), the entire collection permanently transforms to its network state. The threshold was successfully surpassed; the collection has been permanently transformed.
